Paul’s second letter to Corinth expounds the message that God’s power is brought to people in their weakness, not in human strength. It is a record of his conflict with opponents who had formed an alliance with some of the church leaders and members.

b. One died for all How did Paul know that he was the object of Christ’s love? It was, he continues, because … one died for all (verse 14).
